Privacy and Discretion

While most addiction treatment was traditionally based in clinic settings or in large treatment programs, the development of a new specialty – Addiction Psychiatry – allows for all stages of treatment of addiction to be conducted in a private office setting. As an Addiction Psychiatrist, Dr. Glazer is fully trained in both the newest medical and evidence-based psychotherapeutic modalities. In fact, he is nationally recognized for his individual work with physicians and other professionals.

For many professionals, the idea of getting treatment for addiction in a treatment program is a huge barrier to entering treatment. Most addiction treatment programs are not discrete, groups can be very large, and other clients may be mandated for treatment in lieu of prison.
